The College Republicans at FAU invite students and community members to view a memorial consisting of 2,977 American flags to represent each life lost as a result of the events that took place on September 11, 2001. A moment of silence will be held at 9:03 a.m. — the same time the second plane crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. Students and community members are invited to view the memorial. “9/11: Never Project” is part of a nationwide effort that began in 2003 by Young America’s Foundation. More than 200 colleges and high schools will participate.
