Explorer’s Club Summer Workshops for Kids

Themed workshops for children that are hands-on, interactive, and include at least one make-and-take craft.

AGES: 5 to 9

TIME: 9:00AM to 12:00PM

COST:  $25 Members; $30 Non-Members.

• ART
  Meet a Master, Create a Masterpiece
  Dates: July 11, July 18, July 25, Aug. 1
  Explore and replicate the works of some of the world’s greatest artists -- kid style. The Boca Museum of Art will conduct this hands-on, kid-friendly activity.

• NATURE
  All About Nature: Learn from the Pro’s
  Dates: July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, Aug. 2
  Featuring Daggerwing Nature Center, Palm Beach Zoo, PBC Beekeepers Association, South Florida Wildlife Sanctuary, and Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.

• CAREERS
  Whatcha Gonna Be?  Cool Careers
  Dates: July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, Aug. 3
  Hear from an architect, dentist, firefighter, veterinarian, cake maker and radio personality to learn what makes their careers the coolest.

• SCIENCE
  Young Scientists: Formulating Fun
  Dates:  July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug. 4
  Explore these wacky science themes: Things that Go BOOM!, A Whole lot of Shakin’ Goin‘ on, Twist and Shout, It’s not Rocket Science, Grossology and Tricks & Illusions.

  Get Fit Fridays
  Dates:  July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, Aug. 5
  Spend Fridays energized with yoga for youngsters with Yogi Meredith and karate for kids with Master Bobbie.
